Discussion 2: Your Leadership Profile
Do you believe you have the traits to be an effective leader? Perhaps you are already in a supervisory role, but as has been discussed previously, an appointment does not guarantee leadership skills.
How can you evaluate your own leadership skills and behaviors? You can start by analyzing your performance in specific areas of leadership. In this Discussion, you will complete the Gallups Strengths Finder assessment. This assessment will identify your personal strengths, which have been shown to improve motivation, engagement, and academic self-conference. Through this assessment, you will discover your top five themes which you can reflect upon and use to leverage your talents for optimal success and examine how the results relate to your leadership traits.

Leadership profiles are essential since it helps an individual evaluate their strengths and weaknesses for improvement. Hence, the reflection briefly describes the StrengthFinder assessment results from two core values, strengths, and characteristics that I would like to strengthen.
StrengthFinder Assessment Results
From the StrengthFinder results, my unique strengths were ideation, strategy, achievement, adaptability, and arrangement. Generally, all these strengths are essential since they help any leader to execute their duties. Hence, through ideation, I will be able to strategize thoughts that will help in making informed decisions. The strategic strength will help evaluate ideas and involve others in making the most informed decisions on solving problems. As an achiever, my aim will always be to encourage my teammates to strive for excellence to meet organizational goals and visions. Adaptability and arranger, strengths will enable me to cope with any situation that finds an amicable way of ensuring that the set work is completed on time under any situation.
Two Core Values to Strengthen
The central core value that aligns with the strengths and that need strengthening regards to discipline and perseverance. According to Swiderski (2018), leaders should ensure that they are disciplined and can persevere in impacting the values of the people they lead. That way, it will be easy to achieve companies’ goals and maintain healthy work relationships.
Two strengths to Strengthen
The main strength that I would like to strengthen includes ideation and strategic themes. That is because the two strengths act as the primary determinant of how well I will achieve, arrange and adapt to various situations that will lead to business success (Spohn, 2018).
Two Characteristics to Strengthen
As a leader, it is essential to ensure one has characters that reflect the business’s culture. According to Breevaart and de Vries (2021), communication and integrity will help leaders provide their juniors with healthy working conditions, thus increasing their productivity and the organization’s competitive advantage. Hence, there will be a need to conduct more research on incorporating the characteristics in my leadership profile through communication and integrity.
The Gallup Strengthfinder assessment helps individuals realize the most effective and powerful areas to create their leadership profile. Hence, each strength theme portrays various factors, such as ideas for action and collaborating with others with similar strengths.
